Origins! Whats in a name……Traveling Cowboy Chef???

My name is John Wayne “The Duke” Formica

Given to me by my father and his love for the famous American actor.  I grew up under a large shadow that couldn’t be lived down.

Growing up I was picked on, so martial arts toughened me up to defend myself.

In the military, demanding and generating much respect to and from all in recognition of what that name stood for.

As a chef, I work hard to achieve the status and recognition that separates me from most.

Traveling helps in learning and expanding my culinary knowledge.

A cowboy at heart, working with cows and other various proteins by believing in the dying art of butchery while riding along on my Iron Horse blazing a trail to take me to the next level.

In a broader slang sense cowboy can be used to describe anyone who does their own thing, loves freedom, espouses rugged individualism, is quick to right perceived wrongs and upholds traditional values.
He can be a hired man, especially in the western United States, who tends cattle and performs many of his duties on horseback.
An adventurous hero.
A reckless person, such as a driver, pilot, or manager, who ignores potential risks.
